Whenever an order rendered under this ordinance conflicts with a custody, physical placement, or other family Court order rendered by any Court, the order under this ordinance shall take precedence. Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to limit the power of the Tribal Court to have jurisdiction over a child under other sections of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Tribal Code of Law or other law.Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Code of Law.
