NARF Call to Action: Please take the pledge to boycott FedEx
Why is the Native American Rights Fund severing its economic ties with FedEx? The company is one of the Washington Redskins’ biggest corporate sponsors—despite the team’s racially derogatory name and logo.
Join us in boycotting FedEx to show them we will not support this hateful slur masquerading as a team name. Please take the pledge now.
Here’s what FedEx had to say about their support of the Washington Redskins: “We understand that there is a difference of opinion on this issue. Nevertheless, we believe that our sponsorship of FedEx Field continues to be in the best interests of FedEx and its stockholders.”
The Native American Rights Fund has long opposed the nickname of the Washington NFL team. Now we have taken it one step further by ending our use of FedEx for our mailings. I urge you to take our pledge today and show corporations like FedEx that we will not support this team’s harmful name and logo. Let’s hit them where it really hurts: their wallets.
We can no longer justify using our funds to help FedEx perpetuate a racial stereotype. Don’t let these companies try to pass the buck when it comes to promoting hateful slurs. Sign the pledge to boycott now.
