A man without a vote…
Categories: Civil Rights (Voting Rights, Juries, Census)
Elvis A. Norquay is a United States veteran and an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians in North Dakota. In 2014, he was denied the right to vote by a law that disproportionately impacts Native Americans. Your support of the Native American Rights Fund allowed Mr. Norquay to cast his vote in this year’s election, as should be the right of every U.S. citizen.
