November is Native American Heritage Month. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the various cultures, art, religions, languages, music, and traditions of this land’s Native peoples. It is also a time to remember and acknowledge the sometimes fraught history of the United States and its relations with America’s Indigenous Peoples.

More than fifty years ago, the Native American Rights Fund (NARF) was created to support Tribal Nations and Native American people with effective legal assistance as they fought to protect culture, people, lands, sovereignty, and rights. Over the years, we have seen great successes: defending water rights, developing tribal education, repatriating ancestors, and protecting sacred places, to name a few. However, we know there still are battles ahead.

We are committed to protecting Native American rights, resources, and lifeways. We are committed to honoring and sustaining our Native American heritage.

Will you join us? Please help raise awareness about Native issues, Native history, Native heritage, and the ongoing fight to protect Native rights and lifeways. Included here is an image designed for social media: share on your Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook to help us raise awareness! Don’t forget to tag us (FB: @NativeAmericanRightsFund ; IG: @NativeAmericanRightsFund ; X: @ndnrights)!

Subscribe to NARF emails today to learn about the successes we celebrate and the work still to be done.

This Native American Heritage Month, be a part of the change.
