Since 1970, NARF (a 501c(3) nonprofit) has provided specialized legal assistance to Native American tribes, organizations, and individuals nationwide.
NARF has achieved great progress for Indian Country in such critical areas as tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, natural resource protection, voting rights, and Indian education.
NARF is governed by a Native American board of directors with thirteen representatives from tribes representing the regions of the United States, including Alaska and Hawai'i.
