Join Us at the 96th Santa Fe Indian Market
The 96th Santa Fe Indian Market ® will be held this weekend, August 19-20, 2017. The Indian Market transforms the city of Santa Fe, with nearly 900 artists showing their work and filling the Santa Fe Plaza and surrounding streets. The event is free and open to the public.
This year, NARF looks forward to hosting two panel discussions at Indian Market:
Saturday August 19th (1-2pm), Plaza Stage: “DAPL: Fighting the Black Snakes in the Courtroom and in the Galleries.”
Sunday August 20th (1-2pm), Plaza Stage: “Activism and Art: How do you keep the ‘Native’ in ‘Native Art’?”
We hope that you can join us for these timely talks, which will examine current events and the intersection of social justice and art.
Also, please stop by our booth. Say hello, chat with NARF staff, and learn more about our work asserting and defending the rights of Indian tribes, organizations, and individuals nationwide. This year our booth will be across from the food booths on Lincoln Ave (booth 771 LIN E).
