A Celebration of the Native American Rights Fund’s First Fifty Years

March 25, 2020

Dear friends and allies,

In this time of uncertainty, I hope that you and yours are safe and healthy.  First, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your steadfast support of the Native American Rights Fund. With every gift and word of encouragement, you have truly honored us over these past 50 years. Your support has enabled us to continue our fight for Native rights. For that, we thank you.

After numerous discussions with the Gaylord Rockies Resort, we regretfully have decided that we must POSTPONE our 50th Anniversary Dinner Gala that was scheduled for May 8, 2020.  The decision to postpone the gala was a difficult one. It stems primarily from our concern for the health and safety of our gala attendees, as well as their families and friends. The postponement also is in line with Colorado Governor Jared Polis’ recent orders for the state’s response to the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). Postponing the gala for now, is the safest course of action.

Currently, we are in discussions to secure a new date for this extraordinary event. Once this situation is behind us, we hope that you will join us for our new date. Until then, I wish you well. Please know our prayers are with you and yours during this difficult time.

With warm regards,
