If you cannot find a
tribal law at the National
Indian Law Library or online, contact
us for help.
- We'll evaluate your research strategy, and,
if necessary.
- We'll recommend:
- Using the Tribal Code & Constitution Directory -- the A-Z List to find out if the
tribe has posted its laws
online. If not, contact the
tribe to inquire about accessing
their laws.
- Contacting
other libraries that might be collecting tribal laws.
- Asking your public or college
library about using WorldCat to
find tribal laws (especially older
ones) --
CAUTION: WorldCat
will not pick up all tribal laws
in all libraries. It does not, for
instance, find the items in this
library's collection.
