About the Directory: The A-Z List is an alternative way to learn about the library's most recent copy of a tribal code or constitution. Each federally-recognized tribe is listed in an A-Z table.

• The table shows the name of the tribe and the ID# for the catalog record of the library's most recent copy of the code and constitution.
• The catalog record is linked for easy access to more information about the code / constitution.
• Additional information in the Gateway is provided: (1) the publication year of the document, (2) the year that the document was received or cataloged, (3) information about the presence of the most recent online copy on the Internet, and (4) tribal contact information.
• The library also provides a list of online tribal directories.
