The National Indian Law Library (NILL) online catalog provides access to descriptions of every title held in the NILL collection. Most of the 10,000+ information resources indexed in the catalog can be delivered to patrons for a nominal fee via document delivery or interlibrary loan service. The library catalog also provides links to many free resources that are available on the Internet. While the NILL catalog is a good place to start with your research, please do not hesitate to ask a reference librarian for help finding additional information. The professional staff has access to a wide variety of both print and electronic information sources and takes pride in locating the information you need.

The collection consists of Native American legal materials ranging from books and journal articles to tribal self-governance documents, such as tribal codes and constitutions. Many of the records in the catalog contain abstracts and tables of contents that provide detailed information about the document. The NILL catalog is updated on a regular basis.
