This Law and Order Code for the Colville Confederated Tribes of the Colville Indian
Reservation, Washington, is enacted for the purposes of strengthening Tribal self-government,
providingfor
the judicial needs of the Reservation, and thereby assuring the maintenance of
Law and Order on the Reservation and in the exercise of all Tribal rights off
the Reservation.
