NARF supports a standing Committee on Indian Affairs:

The Native American Rights Fund supports the efforts of the National Congress of American Indians in establishing a standing Committee on Indian Affairs in the House of Representatives. Most Indian-related proposals that begin in the House go to the House Committee on Resources and have to compete, often unsuccessfully, with non-Indian related legislation.
