Reserved Water Rights Claims Symposium:
Western States Water Council and the Native American Rights Fund
announce a symposium on the settlement of Indian reserved
water rights claims. The Symposium will take place September 14-16, 2005.
The meetings
will be held at the Best Western University Inn Hotel and Conference Center
in Moscow, Idaho. A number of topics will be addressed by experts and participants
in completed and ongoing negotiated settlements. The Department of Interior
has confirmed its participation. Congressional staff and other federal representatives
will also be on the program.
