Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe

NARF has provided legal representation to the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe for several decades. The Tribe was federally recognized in 2007, and since that time NARF has continued to represent the Tribe on forming a modern tribal government. Currently, NARF represents the Tribe in negotiations with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to develop an Indian Child Welfare agreement and the development of rules of the tribal court.
