Case Update
NARF continues to work
with former NARF attorney Don Miller and
other private attorneys to settle the Alabama
Coushatta Tribe damages claim against the
United States. The Court of Federal claims
has approved and forwarded to Congress
a favorable recommendation on the Tribe's
breach of trust claim against the U.S.
for $270.6 million. The next step is to
introduce a bill to settle the Tribe's
claims, accompanied by the Court's favorable
recommendation.
