North Dakota Redistricting (Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians v. Michael Howe)

Individual voters, the Spirit Lake Tribe and the Turtle Mountain Chippewa proved North Dakota’s 2021 legislative map unlawfully diluted Native American voting rights.

Winnebago Repatriation Request to Carlisle Boarding School (Winnebago v. Department of Army)

In 2023, the Winnebago Tribe requested repatriation of two children's remains held at the Carlisle Boarding School. Through its lawsuit, Winnebago seeks to enforce its rights under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
